Meet Elise

I have always had a strong interest in how the mind and body influence each other and have spent most of my education and time focusing on how the two work together to maintain optimum health and well-being or, in some cases, not work so well. In my clinical work, I value utilizing a holistic approach and firmly believe that it is essential to getting to the core of the issues my clients seek help to resolve.

Throughout my career, I have enjoyed working in a variety of health-related fields. My educational background is in biology and psychology. I am currently working toward my Ph.D. in Applied Psychophysiology, a specialized area within neuroscience that seeks to understand how a person’s mental state and physiological responses interact to affect one another. As a psychophysiologist, I can use a variety of non-invasive methods to help my clients better understand their behavior and cognition to improve their quality of life and improve their health and well-being.

I combine traditional psychotherapy along with psychophysiological principles to address a variety of conditions. I feel incredibly honored to do the work I do, and I hope that my clients feel empowered by the work we do together. Life can be overwhelming at times, but with the proper tools, YOU get to choose how you respond to life’s challenges, instead of controlling you.
