Psychotherapy
Choosing the Right Therapist – For You
It is important to find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable talking to and who can offer you treatments that have been shown to address the areas of your life you are seeking help to resolve. There are a variety of therapeutic interventions available, all of which provide a framework for the therapeutic process. In my practice, I use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to address a variety of concerns.
Therapy is a journey, and depending on your needs, we will adjust the work we do accordingly. Therefore, it is important you feel that your needs are being met and that the tools I provide you with are useful. It is also important that you feel you are getting the most out of your counseling experience. This involves open communication about what is working and what is not. Seeking professional help is an investment in yourself and I want you to feel good about that investment.

A functional EEG or quantitative EEE (Q-EEG) evaluation is the first step towards a recommendation of the best Biofeedback and Neurofeedback therapy.
Patient Services – Biofeedback and Neurofeedback Costs
The cost for Biofeedback or Neurofeedback cost will depend on a number of factors, including:
- How quickly you respond to training
- How compliant you are with recommendations outside of training (eg., sleep routine, nutrition, exercise, etc.)
- Your goals and your testing results
If you elect to receive any biofeedback/neurofeedback services at our office, there is an additional fee of $50 beyond that of an office visit. If you are using insurance, your co-pay and deductible will apply.
In general, neurofeedback training requires a minimum of 20 sessions. The average number of sessions is 30-50.
The number of sessions required for biofeedback depends on a number of factors, but generally biofeedback (heart rate variability, muscle tension/GSR and temperature training) requires 2-5 sessions.
We want you to feel your best. Call us if you have any questions.
Prices subject to change. Please telephone for most up to date pricing.
